Ricardo Dias Carneiro e Gomes de Pinho is a founder and former board director of the executive board at Banco de Investimento Global (BiG), a private Portuguese financial institution founded in 1998. BiG is registered with the Bank of Portugal and the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), and is authorized to provide investment and insurance services and was the Head of the investment department for over a decade.

As a member of BiG’s governance team, Ricardo still plays a key role as a consultant in overseeing the bank's strategic direction, compliance, and risk management frameworks. The governance team is responsible for ensuring that the institution operates within regulatory standards and aligns with best practices in financial services and has been awarded multiple times as the best small/medium bank in Portugal
