Stefan Nilson, Founder of Korp Foundation for Arts & Science

Currently, Stefan operates in the sphere of Strategy & Sustainability advocating for limitarianism, Degrowth and postgrowth economical topics. In his past he has created numerous ventures in “global north” as an entrepreneur and have a waste network and skillset in the entrepreneurial area of the tech industry.

Widely recognized as an expert in innovation and sustainable solutions, his mission is to influence the capitalistic parts of system for s system overhaul removing the hyper consumption and help thriving the meaningful and regenerative.

Being deeply concerned about the direction of our ecosystem, inequality and unbalances that created a world of conflicts and massive negative effects on the planet, lost hope for younger generation and the growing number of people losing their meaning, he hopes that the foundation can share other alternatives bringing hope, meaningful dialogues and add mindsets around re-generation, equity, system change and accountability.

Stefan holds academic background in economics, international business development, sustainability, innovation and technology, innovation design and processes, as well as art photography, with studies at Uppsala University, Lund University, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics at Karlstad University.

Now based in Portugal, Stefan lives with a deep connection to the sea, his family, and a symbolic affection for ravens and foxes. Being a father of 7, and followed with his emotional support animal Lily, like all of us I simply wants a better future more equal, happy, safe with alive ecosystems.
